The Majlis Fellowship is designed to assist and inspire artists to achieve their full creative potential through the opportunity to travel overseas in the year following the completion of their third year of undergraduate study. Recipient's travel is expected to take place in 2026.
A panel of judges will view submissions and select works to be installed in the Fiona and Sidney Myer Gallery.
The work will be judged in situ, with the winner of the Majlis Travelling Fellowship ($15,000 prize) announced at the date noted below. Shortlisted artists will have the opportunity to install their work in the highly professional environment of the Fiona and Sidney Myer Gallery.
The successful applicants will receive additional information regarding installation and the exhibition itself after shortlisting is complete (by the end of July). The works included in the application must be available for exhibition. All works to be installed will be determined in discussion with gallery staff.
Applications close 5.00PM Melbourne time Friday 20 June 2025.
