The George Fairfax Memorial Award provides one or more awards to a graduate in the discipline of Theatre (previously called ‘drama’) or Production at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music or its predecessor, the College of Victorian Arts, with exceptional talent in any of the theatre arts. The purpose of the award is to provide recipients with the opportunity to enhance their professional careers in the theatre industry at a critical time in their careers;
All applicants must be an Australian Citizen and Alumnus of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Applicants must have graduated within the 10 years previous to 25/3/24. Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview to talk further in more detail about their future plans.
